Nitro Neo has been crowned a Local Hero in recognition of using his popularity to help others whilst racing high performance motocross bikes in pursuit of championship titles. He launched #NitroAid in 2014 with the purpose of spreading smiles on the faces of children in sad situations in the UK's largest children's charity, Barnardo's, and Derbyshire Children's Hospital.

Career
In 2014, a small package of enthusiasm took the motocross scene by storm, Nitro Neo has gone on to become the UK's best known youth racer in this extreme sport.
In 2015, his second year racing, Neo beat 26 other riders from around the world to become the International MX Master Kids Champion whilst representing Great Britain in France. Later that year he dominated the WWMX Winter Championship to win his second title of the year.
Neo ranked fourth in his group after 35 races in the 2015 British MX Cup, receiving the 'Rider of the Day Award' at round six. He was also asked to represent two motocross clubs in national Team Events where he was the highest scoring rider in his team.
Neo ranked third in his debut racing series, the 2013/14 CJMX Winter Championship and ended his first year ranked 5th in the 2014 CJMX Club Championship, the youngest rider in the top five. His hard work and determination was recognised as he also bagged the 'Most Improved Rider Award'.
